I’d follow by saying the people you love are more important than being right.
I wanted them to digest this.
I wanted to instill a sense of self-reflection. We are all imperfect. We all misbehave. We all have less than favorable moments. To say anything less would be a lie.
It’s how we right our wrongs that ultimately matters.
We are going to argue. We are going to say unpleasant things. We are going to make our typically beautiful selves appear ugly. This is a given.
But how we correct it is not.
Our correction equals our confidence.
