Amen to this! I always say I never really got away from my husband. I just got him out of the house. His manipulation and abuse continues through our children and whatever game he can play financially or he'll find a way to interfere with things that are important to my family like getting remarried the same day as my nephew and on my birthday. So now my kids are conflicted about going to their father's wedding for two reasons. The narcissist never stops ESPECIALLY if you were the one to leave them.
