Happy birthday, Thomas! I hope your custody evaluation went well. Your ex-wife is awful to put you and your children through this. It's so upsetting that divorces can last that long it's not healthy for anyone. It feels like you weren't married long enough for her to get what she's demanding so hopefully it turns out in your favor. As I always say, I tell my story and it happens to involve a man but both men and women are capable of behaving badly in divorce and your ex-wife is definitely behaving badly. It's really not about money the Kevin Costner thing (at least to me) it's about the disparity of income and how long they were married. There are other celebrities who have prenups but have provisions for longer marriages. Costner appears to have only looked out for himself and she appears to have underestimated him. I agree with you about stay-at-home mothers. I could have freed myself from my marriage much earlier if I had my own income instead of owning a business with my husband.
