Here's my concern. Is it writing or is it content writing? I agree with Tony about expertise you should know your topic. I'm also for the expressive writer who's not an expert. I'm a journalist and a creative writer. I want to read great writing. There's a distinct difference between writing and content writing. I would like to see less content writing on Medium. That means I do like self-help written by experts but not self-help written by people creating content to get reads. Click bait articles get more reads. And believe me I still do listicles and how to's sometimes. Readers like them but I don't do much of them here because I am a writer on this platform not a content writer. In the beginning, Medium was created for writers not content creators.
