Hi Cat, It's bizarre. It's a battle for control and a battle to win. Our husband's are similar. It's less about the money and more about they don't want us to get the money. My husband spent more money doing certain things to make sure I didn't get any money. The satisfaction for him was he'd rather pay more in one area to make sure I got less.
