Hi Charlene, I'm glad it's worked out for you and Tali. I just feel terrible that some rescues don't do their due diligence and this is what owners and pets go through. The guy in my apartment building definitely shouldn't have a dog like he has in an apartment because it increases the likelihood of something happening. I am always amazed by people who do what the guy with the small dog did to you and insist their own dog is friendly which as you point out is silly because the other dog may not be.
