Hi Chris, I'm sorry I'm just responding. It does seem unbelievable but this happened to one of my closest friends. She was stone cold sober when she went over there. I'm sure that helped. The way she explains her ability to remain calm is that he had made her feel crazy for months when she had suspicions he was lying so she said that just knowing she was right was validating enough and she also says that she was slowly distancing herself from him those last few months emotionally because her instincts were so strong that he was cheating. Not to mention, she said it was gratifying to watch him get caught off guard. Typically, she's a burn your house down kind of girl so that's why I asked her why she was able to remain calm. The other woman was willing to accept breadcrumbs from him seeing him once a week so that's all I can possibly determine is why she was calmer. Either that or the fact that she wasn't sober made her more chill rather than potentially the opposite.
