Hi Spencer, I initiated it. He was diagnosed by a psychologist as lacking empathy, and having narcissistic personality disorder. I understood this because I remained in marriage counseling alone once he would no longer return but I had no idea until I left him (because I didn't want to believe he was as bad as he was) that a narcissist is truly that brutal.
