Hi Steph, Our divorce lasted 5 years and he was no better. He didn't look for our children to spend time with which actually shocked me because I thought he was a better dad than that and that he would ultimately do right by them but he didn't. He was financially abusive the entire 5 years. I am now 4 years out of the divorce and two of my children average seeing him every two or three months even though he lives a few miles away. My one son works for him so he sees him because of that. This past year because he needed them to be at his wedding he reached out to them more but it's been 9 years in total and he's only taken them on one holiday and last year he canceled on them on Father's Day and Christmas in favor of hanging out with his girlfriend. It's sad.
