Hi Thomas, I honestly think the only reason I stayed for so long is because he was a covert narcissist so passive-aggressively controlling and appeared laid-back as long as I didn't demand anything from him. And because I was raised by a single mother so I rarely asked for his help. I had a five year divorce and I am now four years out thankfully. Yay. I write to help others but I get what you're saying about reaching your maximum. I may not write on this particular topic too much in the future.
