Hi Thomas, It's sad she moved your children farther away from you. I can't believe she didn't realize that having all of the household bills paid plus receiving $2500 a month for groceries and gas was fair. I was married for decades and as you know, my husband didn't routinely pay the bills and he alotted me $600 a month for groceries, gas and any spending money our teenage boys may have needed. I think what's most difficult for people like you and me is we just wanted to have our freedom but it's hard to gain it when people won't let you leave them. This is where there needs to be some reform in the divorce system. In addition to the many other changes, there should be some provision for divorces that go beyond two years. An intervention or legality that addresses in court why there is no resolution. My children should never have had to endure a five year divorce.
