I SO agree! I have seen this comment on many articles many times and it's not only not true, but this is part of the complexity and frustration of dealing with a true empathy lacking narcissist. The average person who thankfully has experienced this confusion and abuse has no idea what an actual individual with NPD is like and capable of.
