I totally get that and because my husband was passive-aggressive and appeared laid-back I just didn’t understand what a difficult personality he was and how much maneuvering I was doing to keep the peace. Because it wasn’t always overt it was more that I knew what was expected and I made sure it happened in our day-to-day lives.
