It’s wonderful that you want to be there for your children. I have tried to get my husband’s attention he just doesn’t have a connection to people not even our children. It’s very sad. I never understood parents who got divorced and walked away from their kids because it’s unnatural but after being in counseling with a diagnosed narcissist you begin to understand that by nature of their disorder they are missing something crucial, empathy. That makes them unnatural.
