My husband was also a covert narcissist. They are much more difficult to spot than the overt narcissist. They are passive-aggressive so they present as laid-back and easygoing. They are anything but. I always say, I honestly don’t know what is worse, a man or a woman who is a narcissist. They are both brutal in similar and entirely different ways.
