Oh my gosh, you are a great writer. I could literally envision your childhood home and Thanksgiving! I don’t know if you read the piece I have pinned to my profile or not. It’s called “I Broke Up With My Husband.” It’s about the absurdity of divorce compared to our high school breakups. Basically, we were more mature back then and still friends. My high school boyfriend is still one of my best friends. We seem to get more immature with age. I love what you wrote about God breaking our hearts.
