You’re brave and your writing is powerful. I felt your pain and your triumphs. I agree with you that awareness needs to be elevated to the truth especially about NPD. I do write about narcissism but I take it very seriously as a journalist, someone who has done a decade of counseling, and as someone who left someone diagnosed with NPD. It’s highly complex and misunderstood and on the spectrum so not every ex is a narcissist. Too many people are writing on the topic who don’t understand it. I write to raise awareness because my situation became extreme.
